After thorough restoration and cleaning, I reopened FLOAT yesterday. The peace lily just surprised me with a fresh flower: a reminder of our resilient community. A reminder of how new life can bloom from darkness.

So grateful to report that FLOAT has been essentially untouched by the fire. Power is on and whole-clinic HVAC is running. Cleaning teams are being scheduled. I will keep y’all updated as to when it’s safe and ready for patients to return
